The course content in general was very intensive but the
purpose was also that we learnt how to become researchers and
self-teachers. I also appreciate the cooperative attitude,
patience, comprehension and friendship that all personnel of
HFT develop with the students of this course.
Being a geoinformatics professional I found that HFT
offers one of the best master courses in the field compared
to similar courses in my country and abroad. The syllabus
covered almost all the topics with latest techniques coming
under the Geoinformatics and photogrammetry fields.
I gained more confidence and strength to go for achieving
my dream of self employment. I started my own consultancy,
back in India and we actually take projects on topics I
learned from HFT.
Outstanding! Needless to say, it has transformed me from a
mere technocrat to a manager as well. I learned how to
balance work, studies and social issues while performing your
designated duties diligently.
The best in my learning history. The course essential, the
syllabus updated and it addressed all aspects of current
technologies. The study materials and equipments were
appropriate to the course.
HFT, a well renowned university in Germany, is remarkable
due to its cutting edge technology on Photogrammetry. It
offers an inimitable master course in Photogrammetry and
Geoinformatics for international students with a strategic
vision. Further, it provides an excellent research
infrastructure and supportive environment with highly
qualified supervisors, having excellent research calibre and
dedication. These factors motivated me to choose HFT as my
The study within the HFT laid the fundament in terms of my
professional career and intercultural competences. Having the
Master of Science for Photogrammetry and Geoinformatics as a
reference opened a lot of chances for me, such as working as
a consultant or as an integrated expert abroad.
The Geoinformatics course is a perfect blend of lectures,
exercises, assignments and mini projects which is delivered
by a highly qualified and professional faculty, particularly
concerning GIS and Photogrammetry. I have flourished my
Geospatial Analysis skills in the area of water resources
applications and Digital Photogrammetry.
I have selected this course by recommendation of my former
colleagues. Moreover, this was the only course across the
Europe that simultaneously covered two major disciplines:
Geoinformatics and Photogrammetry.
The best experience so far. Good learning environment,
good support staff, wonderful professors always available for
you and generally excellent learning materials including
laboratories, library and computer rooms.
Ausgezeichnet!
Writing about 14 scientific papers, continuing my study at
PhD and employment at the Germany's national research center
for aeronautics and space (DLR - German Aerospace Center)
were the most outcomes of my study at the HFT.
My most exciting experience was to meet people from all
over the world. We developed a strong friendship with all
classmates and during our free time we could travel around
all these countries as a result of conversations, food, and
The most exciting part was the time I spend with my fellow
classmates, literally from all over world. I will never
forget the DAAD conference in Freiburg, German language
classes, evenings in “Schlossplatz” with friends.
Stuttgart in summer! Stuttgart must be the best place in
Europe, if not in the world during summer. The weather is
very welcoming and the mode all around is warm. Very lovely
people enjoying what they love to do during the day and
relaxing with a cold beer after work in the evening at
I spent the best time with my family (my wife and 4
children) in there (Stuttgart). I enjoyed the good and nice
environment with the good weather especially during the
winter and snowing. Until now my family always remembers that
the Germans are very kind, friendly and helpful.
To be honest, the greatest thing and view that I should
mention is the warm welcome and appreciation which I felt
from German people, during my stay at HFT in Germany.
The most exciting aspect was getting a multi-cultural
experience and to be able to present the customs of my home
country to the classmates and to the university
administration and professors. Despite I have graduated ten
years ago, I am still in touch with my friends whom I met in
