The Laboratory for Photogrammetry Techniques provides the whole range of photogrammetric processing technology - analog, analytical and digital organized in the above-mentioned rooms.
The optic-mechanical systems are mainly used to demonstrate abstract lecture content. The analytical and especially the digital systems are used for a large number of calculating exercises in the Bachelor study programmes "Vermessung und Geoinformatik" (Surveying and Geoinformatics) and „Informationslogistik“ (Informationlogistics) as well as for the Master programme „Photogrammetry and Geoinformatics“.
In numerous Bachelor- and Master-Theses the laboratory is used for research and development in the field of photogrammetry, digital terrain models and laserscanning. This is supported by the highly efficient PCs and the installed software, which is selected to allow getting familiar with it very easily in a short time.
